Physical DescriptionHeight, weight, hair color, eye color, any distinguishing features Pesh'ewa looks very much like a cat or lion. His body is covered in a soft, sleek, golden fur. Caitians are bipedel and have a thick mane of hair and a long tail. Pesh'ewa has large golden eyes that give him excellent low-light visions. He also has excellent hearing raning far above and below the normal human hearing ranges. He stands at a towering 5'10", about average for a Caitian male, which can range from 5'5" to 6'4" in height.

Hobbies: Physical activities, in particular the arts known as Rroshoone, which is a combination of stretching and meditative exercises, similar in some ways to the martial arts of Earth; Games of agility and dexterity, including many special holosimulations he has brought with him for his own enjoyment; linguistics; and he has a strange fascination with other feline species, having previously tried to hold a conversation with a standard domesticated Earth cat; tinkering with various objects to try and make them run or perform better.

History/Background/Education Following his desire to become a Starfleet Officer, Pesh'ewa entered Starfleet at the age of 23, a standard age for a Caitian to venture off planet and into Starfleet if desired.
His natural abilities to hear the tiny nuances and subtleties of language made him an excellent candidate for the study of communication and linguistics. With this goal firmly in mind, Pesh'ewa studied hard and secured a position as an Operations Officer onboard the USS Constellation after graduation. Through this position, he not only put his communication skills to good use, but also found a place for his mechanical aptitude to shine. As an operations officer, he had to have a good working knowledge of how the ship functioned and the daily maintenance and routine of any Starfleet vessel. Because of this additional knowledge, he was also often called upon to aide with minor Engineering assignments onboard the Constellation.
Due in large part to his quieter personality, Pesh'ewa did not seek out advancement in his position immediately. Finally, after his many years of dedicated service onboard the Constellation, his senior officers recommended him for promotion to the position of Lieutenant Junior Grade, which he has held now for the past 3 years. Advancement in rank has not been Pesh'ewa's main focus, rather he is dedicated to performing his duties with accuracy and precision, wanting to keep the vessel on which he serves operating at full capacity and without error. Pesh'ewa is intrigued by the idea of traveling into the Delta Quadrant, as he would be the first Caitian to do so, a truly monumental feat in his eyes.
Personality Profile: Pesh'ewa is usually an easy-going person. However, he takes his job and his duties very seriously and has committed himself to serving Starfleet to the best of his abilities. Pesh'ewa does not appreciate or tolerate some humans snide remarks about his species, as his very loyal to his homeland of Cait and their deity the Goddess. When irritated or provoked, Pesh'ewa's more animalistic instincts can and will take over, proving him to be a fierce fighter and protector. Pesh'ewa is very sensitive to minute changes in the environment around him, both the sights and sounds, as well as the overall atmosphere, as Caitians possess an innate sense of danger. This ability has proven valuable both personally and within his career at Starfleet. It also makes him an excellent candidate for surveying a situation on an away team mission or in a diplomatic setting. Because the human tongue is different than the native Caitian language, Pesh'ewa's words often have drawn out s and r sounds when he speaks.
Other Personal Details: Pesh'ewa was always fascinated by the stars, and knew from a young age that he wanted to pursue a career in Starfleet as many of his fellow Caitians had done before him. Because of his desire for this, he purposely refrained from seeking a mate on his homeworld so as not to have to ask someone else to leave their beloved homeland with him.
Caitians can become involved with other species in personal relationships, however most often any bonds made between a person of another species and a Caitian are not recognized if the Caitian returns to their home planet, where they are expected to bond, or mate, with another of their own species.

Pesh'ewa stood at the transport station and looked out once more on his homeland. This would be the last time he saw Cait and it's glorious moons shining down for the next 13 years. Had he made the right decision? His career in Starfleet was like a dream come true, everything he'd ever wanted and hoped for since laying out under the stars in his youth. 13 years was not the end of the world, but it was longer than he had ever been away from his homeland.
With his final bags in hand, Pesh'ewa handed them to the Caitian transport unit who had agreed to take him to the nearest hub that would then transport him to the Orbital Spaceport. He nodded to the driver, and slid into the transport ship, ready to begin his new adventure onboard the USS Crudiagh.
