History/Background/Education Joanna Raquel Vista was born the youngest of three brothers and one sister. Her father, John Vista was a test pilot and her mother, Wendy Vista a former school teacher. Growing up Joanna was the odd one in the family. She was the dreamer, and daddy’s little girl. Due to her dreaming she got in a lot of trouble with teachers. Joanna was never the kind that could sit still so her parents tried to get her involved with sports, which was fine but Joey never took to them. She’d often pretend and her parents saw that as an opportunity to get her started in different types of arts, which Joey loved. It was said as long as she got good grades, obeyed, and paid attention in school and at home she could keep doing what she liked. Things were always touch and go with that but Joey always did her best and remained happy. When she reached the age of 18 Joanna decided to go to the academy. Everyone was shocked, but she was aloud to go. Joey got in the first time. She did come close to getting kicked out a few times, because of a few explosions in medical and science classes. Even when things got hard Joanna kept plugging away and studying as much as possible. She wanted to first be a science officer, but that did not exactly work out so she changed to medical…it was okay, but everyone seemed to get nervous in class. It was suggested she take up physiology although some thought she required a ‘shrink’. Joanna Raquel Vista happily agreed as she loved to try new things. Well, this suggestion seemed to work. More shock came later on in life when Joey ended up graduating the academy as a Counselor. She assisted one on Earth for about three weeks before she was assigned to the Crudaigh as an assistant Counselor.
Personality Profile: Joey is a very happy go lucky and perky person. It’s seldom to see her with a frown. She is also very enthusiastic and sometimes clumsy. People tend to call her a daydream believer and find her annoying because she is always very happy. At times she can seem as if she came out of a fairytale book because she can also be a bit naive like a few of the princesses.
Other Personal Details: Joey has and always had a baby face. She often gets mistaken for a teenage girl between the ages of 16 and 18. When Joey is nervous she has a habit of playing with her fingers. She also speaks with an Australian accent.
Any Special Notes: Sometimes Joey will just burst into a song or start humming a tune at random. Joey has been known to blow up a few things and break items due to clumsiness and forgetfulness.
Role-Play Sample:Please post a 1-3 paragraph role-play sample as your character. It can be about anything you choose, but it must be in character
Joey had just finished with her last appointment for the day. She sat back in her chair and began going over the notes she had jotted down onto a PADD. She let out a little sigh as she read. The person she had given advice to reminded her of her eldest brother and the thought of that made her giggle. Suddenly the door chimed. Joey looked up. “Do come in.” She said in her cheery voice. The door opened and in stepped Sam, her best friend. “Sam!” Joey exclaimed as she got to her feet, well sort of. She took one step forward and tripped on the leg of the coffee table and came tumbling down to the floor. “Joey!” Sam said as she rushed to her friends side. “Are you okay?” Joey began cracking up. “I’m fine.” Joey said as she gasped for air as she laughed. With the help of Sam she got to her feet. “What are you doing here?” Joey asked a bit curiously. She brushed her hair back and picked up the PADD that had come to the ground with her. “It’s Friday.” Sam pointed out. “Oh yeah!” Joey said in rembrance. “Girls night out.” Joey lightly jumped up and down. “Let’s go!” Joey grabbed Sam by the hand and ran out the door. When they got outside a sudden cloud burst and it was now raining. Joey smiled brightly and ran out and hopped up on one of the lamp post and drew in a big breath. Sam’s eyes widened. “Joey! Don’t!” Sam quickly covered Joey’s mouth, and got her down. Joey removed her friends hand from her mouth. “Why did you do that?” Joey asked sounding confused. “You were going to sing.” Sam replied. “And?” Joey was still a little clueless. “Now is not the time for a musical scene.” Joey shrugged at what Sam had just said and replied with; “Okay, let’s go find a stage then.” With that Joey pulled Sam along to a place where they could perform together.
