Name: Senneh Orim
Preferred Rank: Civilian
Position: Runs the lounge on the Crudaigh
Species: Trill
Age: Senneh is 24, the Orim symbiote she carries is near 180 years old, Senneh is the fourth to carry it
Physical Description: As most Trill humanoids, Senneh has red spots running down both sides of her body from head to toe, though she usually wears her hair down and clothes that cover her spots; long in the arms and legs. She is of short to medium height, with long brown hair and brown eyes.
Birthplace: Trill
Hobbies: Singing, playing keyboard instruments, reading and writing
Family on board? Nope, she's on her own!
History/Background/Education: Senneh grew up on Trill, and from the age of about ten she knew she wanted to be joined. Her parents were completely supportive of her aspirations, and helped her with her studies by paying for tutors in both academic and creative arenas, in the hope of improving her chances of being selected as a host. To that end, Senneh is an excellent singer and proficient in ten different types of keyboard instruments, as well as holding a degree in politics and business.
The Orim symbiote has had three hosts prior to Senneh. Jorak, the first host, was an explorer; he travelled great distances from Trill investigating the histories of other planets and civilisations. Gleet, the second host, was an entertainer; she took great pleasure in her abilities as a comedienne and writer. Her stories often drew on Jorak's explorative experiences. Gleet's notoriety on Trill was one of the reasons that Senneh was particularly interested in being joined with the Orim symbiote. Liras, the third host, was a counsellor. She worked for the Federation, on a starbase near the demilitarised zone, helping the crews of ships working in that area as they passed through.
When she joined with Orim, Senneh did not want to take up the same occupation as any of the previous hosts. However, the need to work with people was strong, so she decided to combine what she'd learnt about business in her studies with her wish to socialise, and so she opened a restaurant on Trill. After six months she began to feel Jorak's pull to see the stars, and moved to take over management of a bar and restaurant on a Federation starbase. When she heard of the Crudaigh's mission, she didn't hesitate to apply to run the lounge on board the Delta Quadrant-bound ship.
Personality Profile: The previous lives of the symbiote have given Senneh an excellent way with people. She is easily capable of entertaining and consoling them almost simultaneously. She gives the impression of someone who is easy to talk to, and she enjoys helping others. She is never happier than when she has cheered someone up or made them feel better about themselves.
Her joining has made her a lot more confident than she was as a young woman, and she enjoys meeting new people and making new friends. It is her aim by the end of the Crudaigh's mission to know every single person on the ship and be friends with as many of them as possible.
She knows that she looks young, and that people can sometimes be surprised by the wisdom she speaks if they are unaware of her Trill heritage or what a bonding is and how it works. She wouldn't admit it to people who weren't her friends, but honestly she quite enjoys surprising people this way. It is for that reason that she often covers her Trill markings; to maintain the slightly mysterious air and her element of surprise.
Other Personal Details: Senneh would rather people didn't know that she was joined. She knows it makes people feel uncomfortable often, and so would rather tell them herself if she feels they should know. There is a note in her personal record to that effect.
Any Special Notes: Again... I think I covered it.

Senneh looked around her new quarters on the Crudaigh and smiled happily. Everything was in place; from her twenty-first century Earth-made piano to her three bookcases of books. She knew that the computer on the Crudaigh could give her pretty much any book she wanted to read, at the touch of a key. But these books; these were different, these were special. The writings of these books could not be found in any library in the universe. They contained accounts of Jorak's adventures, as written by Gleet, along with stories and poems from Gleet's own imagination. On the third bookcase were a selection of musings on pyschology written by Liras. And there, right at the bottom, two volumes of her own diaries, all she'd amassassed so far since her joining.
From the living room, she wandered into the bedroom. Starfleet issue sheets had been removed, and instead there was a soft, luxurious cover she'd ordered from Risa just before she left. Sure, she could have replicated something once she boarded her new ship, but Senneh preffered objects that had memories and meanings attached to them.
She walked back into the living room, took one last smiling glance at her surroundings, and then left her quarters. She was looking forward to getting to work.
