Birthplace: Berlin, Germany
Hobbies: Conrad loves taking things apart and putting them together again as a typical Engineer tends to like doing. He likes to test his mind by playing logic games such as Sudoku or tactical games like chess, which many consider strange for the engineer and type of person he is. He has a hobby for planes, particularly ones of the World Wars 1 and 2 era and will often be found in the holodeck in wartime air simulations. He also has a deep fondness for children and they seem to like him and his happy go-lucky personality as well.
Family on board? All of his family still reside in Berlin and he only really maintains contact with his younger sister, Sarah.
History/Background/Education Conrad was born in Berlin, Germany to a family who very much still believed in the Hitler regime, despite the event happening at least a hundred years before Conrad's time. Despite hating his parents for trying and wanting him to be more like them in their beliefs, he often turned to his sister who shared his own hatred (though it wasn't as deep) for support and advice. He was later sent to a boarding school as soon as his parents learned that Conrad did not share his family's views and the fact that Conrad had Jewish friends seemed to horrify Arnold and Jocelyn Sharpe. He spent the years studying hard, dreaming of something better.
When he left boarding school at sixteen, he decided to enlist in Starfleet, again to his parent's horror. Whilst studying his four years, he often took volunteer jobs in the spare time, usually babysitting, which eventually gave him a deep love of children. He passed through the four years at the Academy with flying colours and many more friends. He found he had a special touch with transporter technology and read what he could on its history, which included the famous friend of Jonathan Archer, Emory Erickson who was the inventor of the Transporter.
When he went on his first station, people thought him obnoxious or unapproachable due to his loud personality traits. Which in a way he was back then but thanks to his friend and colleagues, he managed to tone it but it's still there counting as just one of the flaws Conrad bore. He served on a few vessels before he came to serve on the U.S.S. Crudaigh with a few recommendations. Transporters seemed to bend to his will for most of the time.
He was an Engineer for the majority of his seven years of service but in the latter year, he became the Transporter Chief for the Crudaigh as his reputation with understanding and having a natural knack with the device became known.
Personality Profile: Conrad is a jovial go-lucky person who beleive life should be lived as it is only lived once. Easy going and easy to talk to, this Transporter Cheif loves to have fun, and adores children. Can over shoot the mark a little as far as his mouth is concerned, mostly forgetting to keep offending info or what not to himself. His head often twitches out of habit sometimes, usually when he's headlong into a conversation or thinking. When things don't go the way he wants, say the Transporter's playing up, he'll often switch into speaking in German and cursing vehemently.
He's a strong individual who's there to talk to when you need him despite many finding faults with him disliking his family. It's one subject he's not overly keen on talking about but will if persuaded. He's hard working and is a dedicated man to what he puts his love into, whether its the transporter or his friends.

Any Special Notes: He has a tattoo of a Eagle is on the upper right of his back and another of Egyptian Hieroglyphs running down both arms. (Both were done before he joined up)
"Shisse," the German stated, just managing to dodge the enemy fire coming his way. Conrad sharply barrel rolled his Spitfire to the right, swerving round trying to get behind the German plane after him. The noise of the plane's engines and the ruthless rattatatat of the machine guns supplied to the German fighter plane was deafening to Conrad's ears but he pressed on.
Of course, in the back of Sharpe's mind, he knew this wasn't real. Those metal projectiles were not real as the safety on the programme perimeters and therefore, if the situation had it so that he was shot down, he wouldn't and couldn't die. After all, Conrad Sharpe had no particular real-life death wish. One of the reasons why tactical and military had never interested him. That sort of job came with too much risk over normal job duties.
With a blinding flash, Conrad turned again trying desperately to shake off his opponent. Anyone might expect him to play the German seeing as that was his nationality anyway. For him, he just preferring playing English and besides, Spitfires were just one of his favourite planes. He loved the feel of them, how they turned and reacted to their pilot's demands.
After a while of swerving clear and trying to shake the German off his tail, he managed to lose the plane and get around it in the crossfire. Biting his lower thin lip, he opened fire on the plane ahead of him. That was until he noticed what the time was. He was on duty quite early tomorrow and he needed a decent night's sleep or he just wouldn't be in the mood for it all.
"Computer, end programme," he alerted, his accent thick and heavy. Most of the time, his accent wasn't a problem but sometimes, people found it rather more of a nuisance. Something he couldn't help and never really worried over what people thought of it. He was German and whilst his parentage wasn't the best, he was proud of being what he was.
