Hobbies: playing her violin, building models of old StarFleet ships, watching the stars

History/Background/Education Kelsey was born on earth, in San Francisco to a Academy professor, and a civilian. They both were very good to her- in fact, they spoiled her a bit.
Kelsey went to to school at the San Fran main elementary school. Her teacher was a Miss Larson, who she liked very much. Kelsey went to high school at the San Fran main high school.
When she graduated, she began weighing her future career options. It had been suggested that she join StarFleet, and she applied at the Academy. To her surprise, she was accepted.
She earned honors in engineering and operations. Her first posting was aboard a USS Jamestown, which was assigned to deep space. On board this ship, she was rarely able to see her parents or other family.
Five years after her graduation, she was reassigned to a starbase as an engineering officer. Her stint aboard was short, ending only months later, when she was reassigned to the USS Criatic, which she enjoyed. She spent nearly a year on board that vessel, then requested and recieved a transfer to the USS Horizon. She was there nearly a year, then transfered back to the Criatic, which requested her back as Assistant Chief Engineer. She has been serving there ever since. She has now been assigned to the USS Crudaigh as Assistant Chief Engineer.
Personality Profile: Kelsey is generally quite friendly. However, she dislikes loud, rude, or intimidating people. She doesn't like 'in your face' people, prefering to keep to herself rather than have people constantly yelling at her. She likes talking to people, particularly people who will put up with her talking about engineering details all. day. long. She can generally be seen with a smile on her face.
Other Personal Details: Kelsey still sleeps with a teddy bear, who she calls Teddy. He is quite ragged, and she hides him under her bed when she's away from her quarters.

Kelsey stretched and sat up, glancing about her familiar room. Not quite so familiar now, though. Storage containers were stacked up beside the door, full of all her stuff. Except Teddy. She smiled down at the little stuffed bear at her side. The ragged bear seemedto be smiling back.
She scooped him up, and carried him over to the lone still-open container, and carefully arranged him inside, before shutting the container. Today she was going to transfer to the USS Crudaigh- her brand new posting.
For just a moment, butterflies took possesion of her stomach, and her smile turned queasy, but it was gone a moment later, and her usual sunny smile was back. She headed out the door to arrange with the transporter chief the transfer of her belongings.
