Name:Ariel Megara Dawson or 5 of 7.

Position:Specify specialty within field if applicable Since she has no position here are a few things she's good at. Stellar cartography,anatomy,exobiology,operations,and quantum mechanics.
Species:Five as Ariel prefers to be called is a Bajorian.
Age:23
Physical DescriptionHeight, weight, hair color, eye color, any distinguishing features Ariel Dawson (Five of Seven) is 5' 7 1/2'' tall. She weighs 121lbs. Ariel's hair color is a dark red that is naturally wavy,and falls mid back. Ariel generally has her hair up in a bun. Her eyes are a medium blue.Ariel still has her ocular implant and it is over her left eye. She also retains her assimilation tubeliels on her right hand.
Birthplace:Bajor.
Hobbies:Her hobbies include other species,languages,Bio Chemistry,Exo Biology,Making things run better,Reading,Ice Skating,and Music.
Family on board?Provide details of any family on board the ship Ariel has no family on board.
History/Background/Education Ariel was assimilated by the Borg at a very young age. Three years of age to be precise.Her parents had taken leave and were on their way to visit family members on Betazed and Earth. Along the lines in the vastness of space the shuttle took a little damage from a brief ion storm sending them off course. A few minutes later the Borg came and assimilated Ariel,her parents,and the shuttle.
Thus Ariel was given the name 5 of 7 and raised by the Borg in the Delta Quadrant. When the Borg came back to try and assimilate Earth again Ariel found herself on the planet,disconnected from the hive mind after the cube was destroyed by Federation ships. Eventually two scientists took her in,and tried to teach her about humanity as well as gather information from her.
The humans that took her in were curious twin sisters named Nichole and Gina. Ariel found Nichole to be more efficient than Gina. A bit later on,with encouragement Ariel left and decided to make her own way in the world. She decided to take Gina's advice about going to Starfleet.
After consideration Ariel enrolled,but left after the second semester. One of the Admirals tried convincing her to stay because he saw that they could help each other. Them assisting her with people skills and her assistance,and knowledge of the Delta Quadrant and it's species along with the information Voyager brought back would be valuable to Starfleet,especially the engineers,and operation officers. Ariel decided to stay after a very long debate.However,she only agreed to stay one more semester.
In that time she provided valuable assistance as well as followed Joe's (The Doctor's) lesson plans that he had created a long time ago for a former shipmate of his,that also required the same teachings. She excelled quickly,but found it difficult to add these skills into her. despite her not graduating the academy, when word of the USS Crudaigh got around,and word of it's mission Starfleet thought she would be a good choice to lend a 'helping hand' because of the areas she is excelled in,especially to the engineers and technicians. Also because of the fact that she 'grew up' in the Delta Quadrant. Joe also thought it would be ideal for her to try her skills out on new people. One another note she had been telling him she felt more 'at home' in space.
Personality Profile: Ariel Dawson or Five of Seven,like a rebellious teenager is Stubborn,Headstrong,Firm,Outspoken,Efficient,Direct,and blunt. She always thinks her way is the best way of doing things. Sometimes she is a bit unsure of herself,but dose not let anyone know as she perceives it as a weakness. She also can come across rude and not know it. However, if something or someone strikes her interest she is not afraid to 'jump in.'
Other Personal Details: Ariel will speak up no matter what rank you are. She also is not fond of small talk,but will engage in it when she feels comfortable,and there is not much work to be done. In a conversation she would rather be it one on one because too many chats at once was a little nerve recking.Especially with people who found it necessary to chat at a speed faster than warp. Also Ariel can not resist a challenge.
Any Special Notes:Ariel has to regenerate in her alcove for at least 20 minutes three times a day.

Ariel's regeneration cycle was complete. She stepped out of her alcove and walked out of the cargobay into the corridors.Ariel was headed to the mess hall since she now needed to begin to digest foods once again.The day prior she was instructed liquids first.The doctor had programed something for her in the replicator. She was not looking forward to the experience nor the people. Ariel found it easier to handle a small group of minds instead of tons at once.
When Ariel arrived on the deck the mess hall was, she carefully made her ways to the doors.She took a breath before entering. Seeing so many people in one room with all the chatter going on was unsettling. Ariel went over to the replicator. "Supplement beta 294." She instructed the replicator. She took the cup after it had materialized,and took a drink. She made a funny face. "This is revolting." She said to herself.
She then proceeded to casually walk over to a corner of the room that appeared to be isolated from everyone else. Ariel drank her drink with much dislike as she began observing the others in the mess hall. She never saw the need to be social unless it was asking a relevant question.

I have a few concerns regarding your character fitting into our current crew make-up with ease...
1. With three partial betazoids already on board with telepathic abilities, we would prefer to see a different character make-up, as we do not want an entire ship where telepaths abound.
2. With regard to the ex-borg drone... I am not opposed to having her onboard. However, with the way you have currently created her, I do not see her being an active, engaging member of the ship. We want characters who will interact with the others and not be stand-off-ish. Perhaps if she was a fully recuperated ex-borg drone and already had better skills with people and communication she could be considered for the RP.
3. With her being a civilian... she will obviously have less opportunity to engage in certain aspects of the ship. Perhaps if you want her to remain a civilian, she could have a specific specialty in some field that could make her a more valuable member of the RP and allow her more opportunity to interact during official ship business. You have listed a few areas that she is most skilled in...is she currently onboard the ship because of one of these areas of skill? What IS her purpose for coming onboard the Crudaigh?

Alright, I changed it a bit. There are two reasons I made her the way I did. One) Because it was supposed to be a bit of a learning experience. And Two) I get sick very easily,also I have three different medical conditions. Anywho...I hope this is more suited to your liking.
Though I am curious as to where her alcove will be placed.

I sent a PM containing all necessary info so the thread would not get spammed. But anywho...some of the implants also can't be removed w/o her dying because of the young age assimilation. But I'd still read the PM.
