Physical Description Dark brown hair with amber colored brown eyes. A strong, defined set to this jaw, yet Bryson can flash a smile when he is relaxed and at ease. Bryson stands at 6'0" tall and is of an average, muscular build.
Birthplace: Ireland, Earth
Hobbies: Reading on various subjects, particularly linguistics; games of all sorts (board games, card games, etc.); swimming, tennis, various other physical activities; puzzles and objects designed to inspire deep-thinking and strategy; playing various Irish musical instruments including the Irish bagpipe and the bodrain.

Because Alexandria's mother is no longer living, Reed has also brought on board a nanny, Franala, who has been with the family for years now.
History/Background/Education Bryson (or Brice as his friends call him) excelled throughout his years in Starfleet, graduating as one of the top of his class at age 22. His first assignment was onboard a small research vessel, where he quickly earned his ranks by stepping in to fill in during a crisis situation onboard the vessel. Following that tour of duty at age 27, he was re-assigned to a Starbase where he again proved his worth through hard work and dilligence. By the time he left the Starbase at age 33, he had already earned the title of Commander, which was soon tested out in full as he began work as First Officer on a much larger Federation Starship, the USS Evergreen. After serving nearly 7 years as First Officer under the direction and guidance of the marvelous Captain Loughner, Brice was given his first command of a relatively small federation ship, the USS Almaria. After only 4 years of service onboard the Almaria, Brice was called upon to take on the leadership of a very challenging mission, that of the USS Crudaigh's journey to the Delta Quadrant to build the necessary gate for space travel.
Personality Profile: Brice is a very passionate, determined individual, who knows what it takes to be a leader. He has worked hard throughout his life to achieve the rank of Captain and attain a position with such prestige as the current mission. Brice can and will put anyone in their place if and when the situation calls for it, however, he is best known for his congenial spirit and his willingness to listen to the cousel of those around him. He is a deep-thinker and will contemplate all possible avenues before making any rash decisions, however, if and when the situation calls for it he can be fierce, letting his opponet know that he means business. Brice knows that with such a long journey ahead for his new crew, that he must assure them all of his support and willingness to make this journey flow as smoothly as possible.
Other Personal Details: Brice was married to the love of his life, Katrione Melina Whitteker shortly before he assumed his job of first officer aboard the USS Evergreen. Katrione was content to remain hold a lower rank and simply enjoy the pleasures of her position as science officer. The two had one daughter together, Alexandria, a few short years after marriage and both enjoyed the small moments they shared together as a family. Katrione's health began to detriorate rapidly after the birth of Alexandria, which no matter how much the Starfleet medical officers worked to aide her their attempts were thwarted by her ailing body. The disease, complicated by other health problems she had carried since birth, took Katrione from them within only a few short years. Left alone, a widow, with a 4 year old daughter, Brice considered what was important in his life. He knew that Katrione would have be devestated if he had given up his dreams of Captain and even Admiral over her untimely demise. So with a promise to her on her deathbed to never give up their dreams, Brice assumed the role of Captain of his first vessel barely one year after her death. While he thinks of her often, he knows in his heart that she would have been proud of him and what he had managed to do with his life, and all that still lay ahead for both he and Alexandria in the future.
